CMS has the ability to replicate out what are called sub-CMS's. These servers are setup to download files from the main CMS server and store them locally. These files can then be distributed locally on their own network, thus preventing the network from becoming congested. This is useful if you have multiple locations separated by a limited-bandwidth line.
To set this up, identify a Windows server at one of the remote sites. Right-click on it and choose Assign to CMS -> as Sub-CMS. This will create a Subtree section under the Groups on the left. You'll notice that under here, your groups you have set up will be duplicated.
To have a sub-CMS manage a machine, instead of putting that machine in the normal group, you put it in the group under the specific sub-CMS.
This can be done with multiple sub-CMS's.
