Including file types from a scan

Open Vexira console and click on Scan.




Click on Add Task at the bottom.




On the first screen, check Local hard drives and click Next.




On the Settings window, click Advanced.




Then click on the Extensions button.



Put a check mark beside Included file types and type the file type you want to include during scan. File types should start with * and then the file extension of the file. Click OK and then Next button.




You can set the task to run however often you want, or set it to manual start if you'd like to start it yourself. Click on Next button once configuration is set.




Then give it a unique name so you know which task it is, like "scan hard drives plus .xls files". Then click Finish button.
