To exclude a folder from being scanned by Vexira, click on
Antivirus Settings > Guard for Server > Virus Policy Areas. Right click on
Virus Policy Areas and select
New.
Type the name of your new Virus Policy on this window.
Click on the newly created Virus Policy, in the right pane, right click on
Guard and select
Modify.
Guard must be turned off for the new Virus Policy to exclude the folder from scanning. Select
Denied to turn off the Guard.
Now, right click on
VPA Path and select
Modify to specify the path to be excluded
.
Browse and select the folder you want to exclude then click
OK.
User may create multiple folder exclusions by adding more VPA items.
