After installing Central Management Solution (CMS), it will start a default task to download all products that it needs to push out to client machines.

Once CMS is launched, go to Product versions to check if the download is finished and products are already available.




Once Product versions is clicked, the products list will appear on the right pane. If it's not available, CMS is not yet done with the download.




The download folder can be found in C:\Program Files\Vexira Antivirus\CMS\Temp. You will see the size going up during the download. The download size is around 400MB-500MB depending on the options selected during the installation. Once done with the download, all files will be transferred to the default location and this folder will be emptied.





There are instances where the download get's stuck. To initiate the task again, right-click on  Install copier>Tasks>Initialization/Update and choose Start.





Registration details


If Registration details were not entered during installation, you can enter it by right-clicking on License Manager and choosing Add.




The Registration window will appear. Enter the information needed and click on Registration to save the details.





Network Settings


To setup network settings, click on Network>Domain/Workgroup name>Network settings.





On the right pane, right-click on the User settings field and choose Modify to enter credentials.




Please use the following format when entering user credentials:

DOMAIN setup: Domain name\administrator

WORKGROUP setup: Workgroup name\administrator

NOTE: It is important for the user to have administrator privileges to the Domain or Workgroup




Creating Groups

You have the option to use the default group or add a new group for your clients. To create groups, right-click on Central Management>Groups and choose Add.




Enter the group name on the New group name window.




To setup group settings, start by clicking on the group name and Install template.




On the right pane, right-click on the Products to install field and choose Modify to select the products to be installed on machines that will be under that group. Details of other settings can be found on the CMS user manual.




Select the appropriate product from the Select Products page and click Ok.





Adding machines to groups


Click on Network>Domain name to view machines on the network.





To assign a machine to a group, you can either right-click on a specific machine and choose Assign machine(s) or drag and drop them to the group name. You can also highlight multiple machines and drag them to their respective groups for faster group assignment.




Assign to the available groups in the dropdown menu.




Once transferred to a group, the machine(s) will appear under the group. Click on the groupname to view the machines under that specific group.




Machines will appear on the right-pane. To view more details on a specific machine, right-click on a machine name and choose Machine details to see logs and other information.
